Leisure Village boasts an 18 hole, scenic executive golf course on which play is available free to all residents. The layout saunters 1978 yards through the Village, beginning and ending just behind the Recreation Center, a short walk from the swimming pool. Well-bunkered, the course demands shot-making and putting accuracy comparable to the challenges of the many full-sized courses in the area. Course maintenance is performed by a very experienced and conscientious crew.
Regular weekly tournaments are organized and held by the MEN's Golf Association (8 AM Tuesday mornings) and the WOMEN's Golf Association (8 AM Wednesday mornings), but at most times the course is available for open play by residents and their guests 18 years and older. Mixed tournaments are held on the last Sunday morning of each month. USGA rules govern all play.
All residents are eligible and encouraged to join one of our golfing clubs, which offer camaraderie and the opportunity to enjoy social events with other lovers of the game.
