a)    We run weekly men's tournaments on our Village's executive course (which is free to residents), and 15 or more annual tournaments played at about a dozen excellent regulation golf courses within a radius of 25 miles of the Village.

    b)    On the second Tuesday of each month, the Club holds its mid-month tournament and meeting, on which day prizes are awarded for the following accomplishments:  closest to the pin and longest putt on given holes, and for getting your tee shot into a small circle around the pin on the first hole.

    c)    Fun challenges are scheduled occasionally for the 4th Tuesday monthly tournaments, such as best ball, scrambles, and limited number of clubs allowed.

    d)    Competitions are conducted to select Champions for the Leisure Village course, and Champions for the regulation golf course tournaments.  Awards are presented at our annual luncheon meeting in June.

    e)    Awards are given for "holes-in-one" at our home course tournaments and at our regulation golf tournaments.

    f)    We have our own handicaps, computed in accordance with USGA guidelines, separately for our Leisure Village course and for regulation course play.

    g)    We hold joint events with the Leisure Village Woman's Golf Association, both golfing and socially.

Membership in the LVMGA is a passport to share a golfing paradise with other lovers of the game.  LVMGA golfers becoming unable to play are still golfers. They may maintain their memberships and continue to share in the camaraderie of like-minded enthusiasts at our meetings and social gatherings.
