The Leisure Village Neighbors' Care Group has been aiding Villagers for 28 years, providing them assistance and support by, among other things, lending out health care equipment, wheelchairs, canes, walkers, syringes, etc.
In addition, Neighbors' Care does blood pressure checks for Leisure Village residents on the first Monday of each month at 7 PM in the Assembly Room, provides annual flu shots, and conducts an annual health fair each Spring. The club collects used syringes on Monday nights, and will pick them up on request.
The Neighbors' Care Board meets once each month, on the first Friday, in the Lanai Room. Any questions about the Neighbors'Care group should be directed to Mitzi Allison, at 805-445-9032.
