The Woodshop, located just opposite the Billiard Room, contains a variety of machines and equipment.  All sorts of projects are possible.  New members are always welcome.  Members must be "checked out" on the machines before they may use them, for everyone's safety and protection.

Contact Sid Alweiss for further information at 482-5341.  Every Wednesday morning, volunteers from the woodshop group will take in items needing repair, or related wood projects, from residents of The Village.  No charge is made for our services.  We only ask for Villagers' patience while the work is being performed.  We are usually backlogged with work, so "same day" service is often not available.  Such items as chairs with loose legs, tables that wobble, cracked picture frames and the like are common items we repair.  More complicated projects are also often accepted.  One of our volunteers will be happy to discuss your project with you to determine whether, and how soon, we can fix it.
